Yes I agree with this due to current economic slow down many employers lost their job. The recession or its remnants are going to be with us for many years as far as job creation is concerned. If we compare more female employers affected than men in recession and crisis. Now the recession has been slowdown. But we have to give focus on skills. Because recruiters are looking at candidates skills. I found the site http://naukriforwomen.com which seems very useful to the women world.

Hi,

Thank you for having this blog. It is very well-written and informative.

I have been working in Human Resources for 18 years now and the current economic conditions are the worst I have ever seen. It is so frustrating for our workers and for our job candidates. I hope things improve soon!

I have started a little blog about HR issues myself and I would appreciate you taking a look at it when you have time and giving me your feedback. My blog is at www.DialHR.com. Thanks in advance.

Regards,
Becky

Just want to share something about knowing what skills needed. Here's an article on how Johnson and Johnson HR folks got a handle on skills needed at each hiring level: http://snurl.com/hrsurveys
