Mark - thanks for your question. Suggestions for solving the economic and societal problems are beyond my expertise. However strategies for employers begin with an awareness that they alone will be responsible for recruiting and retaining top performers. Looking to the government and schools to solve this problem in the short term is unrealistic. Employers need to get their act together. One strategy is of course creating a great place to work.

What sort of strategies do you see as potentially addressing this problem?
